Beyond the Reef. 1981.

 Tikoyo lives by the Bora Bora lagoon in the South Pacific, where he found a man-eating tiger shark when it was an orphaned baby, just a foot long. He named it Manidu, and it grew to be sixteen feet long. Tikoyo believes that his companion houses the soul of a wise old man, and helps him guard the sacred black pearls in the lagoon. In fact, Manidu does protect Tikoyo and his girlfriend Diana, only eating those who are their enemies, or who seek to destroy their environment, or steal the pearls.

 The siblings Joseph and Chloe are 12 and have just been placed on another children's home. For years they were on the same or separate homes or on the run together. Chloe is an autist. She does not talk, feels panic when touched, and eats only when told so. Joseph dearly loves her and firmly thinks she needs him. The child psychiatrist agrees that he has a very positive influence. Joseph dreams that Chloe will recover if they find their parents. The psychiatrist finds the mother. But she is also an autist. When the children were one year old she left them on the street just from an impulse. This is the first crack of Joseph's dream. The children escape from this home. When they are caught next time Chloe is send to a mental hospital. The same thing is about to happen to Joseph after a suicidal attempt in the police arrest. Because of his friendship with the gang leader lots of children liberate him on the way. With much violence they also liberate Chloe. Eventually Joseph will have robbed a man of a thick wallet, caused a large traffic accident when successfully stealing one car, stuck a knife in a police man, and be shot by him though not seriously. And Chloe will lose her fear of being touched.

 Alex is a bright, but dreamy boy. At a school meeting he is reprimanded by the principal for coming too late to school on too many occasions. His achievements in sports are not mentioned and this annoys him. His sports teacher puts all his hopes on Alex as he is the school's biggest hope to winning the gold medal at the next inter-school tournament. The next morning Alex leaves for school, together with his friend Maren. Although he leaves the house on time he soon get's distracted as there is so much to see on the way to the school. There is, for example, the horse keeper. A nice old man who is driving with his old horse and the carriage. And he meets the pupils of the other school that participates in the tournament. In his fantasy, his bike becomes a horse and the bad guys want to steal the gold (medals). In his quest to thwart the robbing, his American-Indian blood brother Red Milan is there to assist.

The story ends with the young girl deserted by the boy and sadly returning home

In this black and white melodrama about children, the child murders that the film's title refers to are the million and one ways that children's souls are ravaged by neglect, unkindness and cruelty, even though several physical deaths take place in the story. Zsolt (Barnabбs Tуth) lives a lonely life with his grandmother, having been left in her care by his mother so that she could leave the country. He spends so much time taking care of his grandmother (rather than the contrary) that he has little time for much else. However, he makes friends with Juli (Mбria Balogh) a homeless young gypsy woman living in an abandoned railway car. This friendship becomes known to the other children in his circle, and results in his being actively ridiculed, ostracized and beaten. When Juli has a miscarriage and Zsolt helps her dispose of the baby's corpse, they are seen by one of the hate-filled local children, who notifies the police. The gypsy girl is taken to a prison hospital, where she hangs herself. Zsolt quietly takes his revenge on the informant. His life takes a turn for the better when his grandmother is hospitalized and he comes to the attention of a kindly policeman.

 CZ. Skupina detí z dedinskej školy pripravuje pod vedením učiteľa Svatáčka divadelné predstavenie, inšpirované známou rozprávkou O snehulienke. Nadšené deti si rozdelia jednotlivé herecké úlohy. Katke by sa omnoho viac pozdávala postava krásnej a múdrej princeznej, ako zlej kráľovnej, ale bohužiaľ nemá na výber... Úsmevný príbeh zachytáva všetky důležité momenty, ktoré sa odohrali počas príprav tohoto dlhoočakávaného umeleckého predstavenia.
EN. Sixth-grade pupil Katka daydreams during a maths class about being Snow White and being freed by a prince who looks very much like Dzery from the eighth grade. Katka, her girl friends Lenka and Martina, and her fellow-pupils Franta, Joska and freckled Vrabcák, have spent five years going to the same little one-class school in their home mountain village of Pastvina. Their kind teacher Smetácek was very understanding about their games and fantasies, but he didn't teach them much about arithmetic. They are now laughed at for their ignorance by the strict Bidlo, their new teacher at the near-by little town. As he does every year, Smetácek is preparing a theatre performance with the local children. Katka suggests the fairytale about Snow White.
